I am the senior physician in a general practice in Southend Essex in the U.K. My practice group which serves 25,000 patients began using the FeelingBetterNow programme in July 2008. It was reviewed and approved for use by physicians by the South East Essex Primary Care Trust, which operates under the National Health Services.
The FeelingBetterNow practice management tool enabled me, in partnership with my patients, to reach the correct diagnosis and treatment in a timely and effective manner. The follow up and compliance component of the programme has been of great value as compliance is so critical in the achievement of best medical outcome.
On behalf of the practice, which includes 12 general practitioners, the practice counselor and several nurses who have been using it, there has been universal acceptance and delight of the programme.
